Website Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

Welcome to Milestone Collective. These Terms apply to your use of our website and to anything you buy or download from it. By using our website or buying from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. We may update the Terms from time to time, and the latest version is always on our website.

In short: these are the rules for using our site and buying from us. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply.

1. About Milestone Collective

Milestone Collective provides practical resources designed to support people through everyday life transitions, independence and participation. Our products may include digital downloads, editable templates, printable resources, toolkits and planners, and, if we offer them in future, printed books, guides and physical product boxes.

2. Using our website

You may use our website for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You must not:

  • break any law

  • try to gain unauthorised access to our systems

  • introduce malicious software or harmful code

  • interfere with the website's operation or security

  • copy or reproduce website content without permission

  • use our content to create competing products

  • misrepresent your relationship with Milestone Collective

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary, including for security, maintenance or suspected misuse.

3. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for giving accurate information, keeping your login details private and taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access. Please tell us promptly if you think someone has accessed your account. We may suspend or close an account where it is being misused or these Terms have been breached.

4. Products and product information

We aim to keep product descriptions, images and prices accurate and up to date. Small differences can occur, for example because of screen settings or printing. We may correct errors in product information. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Orders

When you place an order, you are offering to buy the product. We may send an order confirmation, but we may not be able to accept an order if a product is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or description error, payment is not successful, we suspect fraud, or a technical error affects the order. If we cannot fulfil an order you have paid for, we will contact you and give you a remedy, including a refund where required.

6. Pricing and GST

Prices are shown in Australian dollars unless we say otherwise. Prices include GST. A tax invoice is available on request. Prices may change, but a change does not affect an order we have already accepted and you have paid for, unless it contained an obvious pricing error and the law lets us address it. Any shipping charges will be shown during checkout.

7. Payment

Pay using the payment methods offered at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe, and we do not store your full card details. Please give accurate payment and billing information. If a payment is unsuccessful, we cannot process your order until it is completed.

8. Digital products

Digital products may include PDF resources, printable resources, Google Sheets and other editable templates, and other downloadable or electronically delivered materials. They are delivered by a download link, email, customer account or another digital method. You are responsible for giving us an accurate email address and for having a device and software that can open the product. If a technical problem stops you accessing a product, please contact us and we will help.

Your use of digital products is also covered by our Digital Product Terms and our Intellectual Property and Copyright Policy.

9. Physical products and delivery

We take reasonable care to package products properly. Shipping options, costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Delivery times can vary because of the destination, the courier, public holidays, weather and other things outside our control. Please give an accurate delivery address. If your order is damaged, defective, materially different from what you ordered or has not arrived in a reasonable time, contact us as soon as you can with the details.

10. Returns, refunds and consumer guarantees

Our Returns and Refunds Policy has more information. Nothing in these Terms removes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the circumstances, those rights may include a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy if a product does not meet the consumer guarantees. Any change-of-mind refund we offer is separate from those rights and is set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy.

11. Intellectual property

The content, designs, branding and products on our website belong to Milestone Collective or are used with permission. You may use purchased resources only as allowed by our Digital Product Terms and our Intellectual Property and Copyright Policy. If you believe something on our website infringes your rights, please contact us with the details.

12. Third-party content, links and services

Our website and resources may link to third-party websites, organisations and services, and some products work through third-party platforms such as Google Sheets. We do not control these and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices or terms. Please read their terms before using them.

13. General information only

Our resources provide general educational and practical information. They are not individual financial, legal, tax, medical, psychological, occupational therapy, disability, NDIS, aged care or other professional advice, and they do not take your personal circumstances into account. Please speak to a suitably qualified professional about your own situation. Laws, fees, rebates, services and recommendations change and differ between states and territories, so check important information with the relevant authority before relying on it.

14. Safety and emergencies

Some resources may include information about home safety, first aid, emergency preparedness, cooking, exercise or other activities. This is general information and should not be relied on where immediate help is needed. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service. You are responsible for using good judgement and following current safety requirements and professional instructions.

15. Website availability

We aim to keep the website available and working, but we do not guarantee it will always be available, error-free, free from viruses or uninterrupted. It may be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, security issues or events outside our control.

16. Our responsibility

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in these Terms limits them. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable, and where we are allowed to limit our liability, it is limited to supplying the product again or refunding the price you paid.

17. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, power or internet outages, government restrictions, industrial action, shipping disruptions or cybersecurity incidents. Where we can, we will tell affected customers and take reasonable steps to reduce the impact.

18. Complaints and disputes

If you have a concern about a product, order or interaction with us, please contact us first at hello@milestonecollective.com.au. We will try to understand the problem and reach a fair resolution. This does not prevent you from using any rights you have under Australian law.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of Queensland and Australia.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our products, business, website, policies or the law change. The updated Terms will be published with the date of the latest update. Where the law requires, we will give notice of material changes.
